Master Shi Xing Hong is holding his annual gong fu seminar once again.
The cost of the programme is €350 (EURO) for each week, which includes lodging, board, and training. Training consists of Shaolin gong fu, tai ji and occasionally lessons in Shaolin history and Buddhism.
This year the seminar will be divided into three parts:
- July 1 - 16
- July 23 - 31 (China)
- August 1 - 31
The first part takes place in Hungary, the second in China, and training continues throughout August in Hungary.
Grandmaster Shi De Yang and three other masters from China will participate in the first part of the seminar.
There is no minimum or maximum for the time you can take part in the training, which means you can stay for any duration you should like.
A rough draft of how a week usually goes:
- Monday - Friday
- 6:00 - 7:30 Running, taiji and animals
- 8:00 Breakfast
- 9:10 2 hours of training
- 12:00 Lunch
- 15:30 2 hours of training
- 17:30 Dinner
- 19:30 Staff, broadsword and spear training
- 21:00 Occasionally 30 minutes of meditation
- Saturday
- 6:00 - 7:30 Running, taiji and animals
- 8:00 Breakfast
- 9:10 2 hours of training
- 12:00 Lunch
- 17:30 Dinner
- Sunday
What you need to do
If you want to go to Hungary to train with Shi Xing Hong, you need to do the following:

- Obtain your air tickets, to arrive in Budapest Hungary. Get the appropriate visas relative to your country's requirements. Also obtain good travel insurance, in case you get injured.
- Bring Euro for payment, and whatever work out clothing, etc, that you think you might need. Long trousers for workout are preferred, and the FeiYun's are the sneaker of choice for gong fu.
